Nuclear chemistry is a sub-discipline of chemistry involving the study of nuclear processes properties and radioactivity. Nuclear chemistry deals with both the chemistry of elements exhibiting the properties of radioactivity such as radium, radon and actinides and also deals with the chemistry of associated equipment for instance, nuclear reactors which are built and designed to execute nuclear processes.
